Attorney Richard O誰eill, Jr., principal of Richard O誰eill, Jr. & Associates, P.C., founded the Tewksbury law firm in 1994. Formerly O誰eill & Munnis, the law firm had its roots in Malden, Massachusetts, beginning in 1986, and eventually opening a satellite law office in Tewksbury, MA in 1992.

With an undergraduate degree in education from Salem State College, Mr. O誰eill began his career as a social studies teacher in Reading, Massachusetts. He left teaching in 1972 to become a labor relations consultant, first with the Connecticut Education Association and later with the Massachusetts Teachers Association.

Mr. O’Neill received his juris doctorate, cum laude, from New England School of Law in 1983, passing the Massachusetts Bar that same year. In addition, he was admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court U.S. District Court of Massachusetts in 1984, the U.S. Court of Appeals, 1st Circuit, in 1988 and the New Hampshire Bar in 2006.

In private practice since 1986, Mr. O誰eill痴 expertise lies in the areas of litigation and appeals, divorce and family law, labor law, real estate law, elder law, estate planning and probate.

A member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Mr. O誰eill is also active in the Town of Tewksbury. He has served on the Town痴 Finance Committee and School Committee and currently sits on building committees for several ongoing Town projects.
